For instance if the `record` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` part. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on distant station through Web interface. The program performs simultaneous video playback for event examination from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected.
